About Modo Crucero

Modo Crucero is an independent editorial publication that helps Spanish-speaking travelers plan a cruise with clear information, honest comparisons and no fine print.

Why this project exists

Booking a cruise for the first time is often overwhelming: dozens of cruise lines, fares that seem to change daily, extras nobody explains, and very little content genuinely written for people who travel in Spanish.

Modo Crucero was created to bring order to that chaos. We bring together planning guides, explanations of how pricing works, documentation checklists and practical tools such as the ideal cruise quiz, downloadable packing lists and an online check-in guide for the main cruise lines.

We do not sell tickets or handle bookings. That independence lets us explain frankly what each fare includes, what to avoid and when a cruise may not be the best option for you.

Our mission

To advise Spanish-speaking travelers so they can choose, book and enjoy their cruise with confidence: understanding what they pay for, what to bring and what to expect on board.

Our editorial standard

Everything we publish follows these commitments:

  • Independence

Our recommendations do not depend on any cruise line. We are not paid to appear in a guide or to speak well of a company.

  • Verified information

We check conditions, requirements and policies against official cruise line and authority sources before publishing them.

  • Updates and corrections

We review articles when rules or fares change and show the update date. If you spot a mistake, write to us and we will fix it.

  • Advertising transparency

This site may display ads or affiliate links. Where present, they never influence editorial content or the order of our recommendations.

  • Usefulness first

Every guide must answer a real traveler question. If a text does not help you decide, book or prepare better, it is not published.
